CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
NEWS
February, 2006

Dear friends,

In the first two letters I described the daily life of the orphanage.  I received many emails saying how much you enjoyed reading about it.  This time I would like to show you some pictures of the orphanage and tell you a little about the children.

This is the orphanage kitchen.  It is large and perfect for preparing big meals.  It is also large enough for all the children to come in and make special treats like cupcakes.

This is our screened back porch.  The children use it for many things such as painting and other crafts.  Behind it is the playground that was donated and built earlier this year by a man who owns a playground construction business.

The children especially enjoy different forms of arts and craft.  Brayan, a thirteen year old boy, is very good at drawing.  He can look at pictures and draw them very accuratetly.  All of the girls, and many of the boys, enjoy making bead jewelry.  They are always eager to learn new skills.  They are improving in English and computer everyday.  They also enjoy reading.  They are always full of energy, which leaves me somewhat exhausted at the end of the day.  I am becoming attached to all of them.  So that you can get to know them better as well, below is a list with the name, age, and interest of each child.

As I mentioned in my last newsletter, I have decided to stay here on a long-term basis.  Please pray for me as I arrange to move here full time.  Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support.  I would not be able to do this without you.

Love in Christ,

Joy Pulsifer
